Your Greenwood King agent further defines the difference

A SIGN IN YOUR FRONT YARD DOES NOT SELL YOUR HOME. NEITHER DOES A LISTING IN THE MLS DATA BASE.

Greenwood King Properties agents are all experienced, ethical and knowledgeable about the neighborhoods the company serves – or they wouldn't be working at Greenwood King. Julie Greenwood and Linda King have assembled the best and brightest experts in dealing with today's well-informed buyers. This demands extensive market knowledge, expertise in managing the transaction process, negotiating finesse and an understanding of market strategies. Greenwood King agents set the standard for real estate professionalism.

Consider the following when choosing your real estate agent:

The agent should be a full-time professional, well-trained and/or experienced with sales volume performance in marketing homes in your neighborhood.

They should know your neighborhood and its subtle nuances, street-by-street.

The agent should have a solid understanding of market trends in the area, as well as new construction sales expertise, in the event that is an option.

The agent should be detail-oriented and be able to provide assistance with the lending and closing process.

The company's owners should be involved on a daily basis, available to answer any questions and respond to concerns throughout the entire sales process.

The company should provide strong staff support, an innovative marketing approach and state-of-the-art technological systems.

The agent must communicate regularly, not just when the client calls for a status report or for information; written progress reports should be provided on a monthly basis.

The agent should view the property, ask questions about the property and provide a documented Comparable Market Analysis (CMA) to help determine the property's fair market value. This should include detailed statistics regarding how the sales price was determined and how long the property could be on the market given the current market conditions and location. Suggestions for making improvements to enhance the property's selling power and curb appeal should also be presented.

The agent should be able to provide a specific plan to market your property, with a schedule that, if applicable, may include broker open houses, public open houses, advertising and an overview of additional Realtor promotions.

The agent should be the kind of person who cares more about the client's needs – while remaining realistic and responsive regarding minute-to-minute marketing conditions – than anything else in the process. The relationship between agent and seller or buyer should be based on mutual trust, respect and loyalty.
